John Frusciante's Ah Yom
Okay so The Empyrean is a godly album, we all know that, I love every song very much with favorites Central/Unreachable & God I think (for now!) but MY FAVORITE MOMENT of the album is in “Ah yom” at 2.08-2.15.
These seconds give me chills everytime, in a way I cannot describe and put into words, I love the sudden change of tone - from John’s classic falsetto to his normal voice - I don’t know if you find it a big deal right now if I’m overreacting (I probably am) but if you aren’t bored go listen to that point right now, I’m pretty sure th JF fans will totally understand what I’m talking about. I don’t know, those 7 seconds are the epitome of epicness.
